The process includes mobile number input, OTP (One Time Password) verification, and review of pre-filled personal details such as sector number, Assembly Constituency (AC) number, designation, and EMI number. This ensures that only authorized, verified personnel are granted access.

Location Tracking Features

Ele-Traces provides a straightforward location recording feature. Users can specify their current task, then begin GPS-based tracking by starting a recording session. Real-time coordinates are securely sent to a central server, enabling supervisors to view the whereabouts of field officers at any time. The application leverages the device’s built-in GPS for precision and requires an active internet connection to function effectively.

Tracking can be paused or stopped as necessary, with an option for the user to add relevant notes before ending a session. These contextual notes can help provide additional clarity for supervisors regarding specific activities or incidents.

Interface and Usability

The user interface is minimalistic, focusing on functional navigation rather than aesthetics. Clearly labeled buttons allow for quick access to essential actions—perfect for high-pressure election periods when time and accuracy are paramount.
